 The Charlie Parker Band was formed in 2000 by Charlie Parker after years of playing around Houston and the surrounding areas with other bands. Charlie Parker, on guitar & vocals, has been playing professionally since the early 70's. He met Mike "Lowboy" Leubner, on bass and vocals at different venues in and around Houston TX. Playing back to back at the clubs and the rallies, they became good friends. The open mic Charlie & Mike were hosting at the Jailhouse Saloon in Old Town Spring, TX. was getting alot of recognition and "Scooter" Green, on drums and vocals, from the Shinola's, was just coming out and sitting in with the guys having fun. But it was KICKASS!!! They were Rockin the House every Sunday!!! And the following kept growing every week. It's truly magic to see the Trio perform. And all three members sing lead and have great harmonies together. They try to do the good old songs that you don't hear anymore but use to rock the air waves. And the original songs kick ass and are gaining popularity in their own style. Lots of people love them and always have a great time at their shows! All their combined playing experience is a 120+ years, and the band is really tight and dynamic. They love to jam and it shows at every performance. This is one Powerful Three Piece Band!!! They have also had the honor of playing at a lot of big bike rallies around TX & LA such as: the Hawgs of Texas Rally(H.O.T.), Republic of Texas Rally (R.O.T.), Dawgs on Hawgs, River City Bike Fest, Bad to Da Bone Rally, Rumble on the River, Cajun Thunder, the Texas Rally Luau, the Lone Star Rally, the Texas National Motorcycle Rally(T.N.M.), the Broke Urban Biker Rally(BUB), etc. Also, they have opened the show for bands like David Allen Coe, Jefferson Star Ship, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Georgia Satellites, Riot, Hank Williams Jr., Point Blank, Foghat, etc. This is a Rockin Texas Band without a doubt!!!  President of the Fan Club and photographer Donna is one of the coolest people I know, and has been apart of the Charlie Parker band since the very begining when the band first formed in 1998. She has always supported us and has always been there to help at all the gigs. So we want the public to know that Donna is the Fan Club President and a very big part of the band... we love her cpb. |

and Internet Promotions  Simone is head of all internet promotions. And sales for all band stuff. She is my Daughter and I love her very much. And she's been a member of the band her whole life. Plus we're glad to have her on the team. She is a real asset on computer. And promoting the band is her passion. And she DJs between bands at the rallys that we play and run sound for!!! |
 Terry Sets everything up and builds what ever it takes to set the stage for a show. Terry has been a friend of mine for a long time and we are very lucky to have him on the team. He can create any setup you can think of and the only person I know that can party his ass off and still run to the stage and get everything covered for the storm. We love him very much and he's my brother. |
