 The Charlie Parker Band was formed in 1998 by Charlie Parker after years of playing in and around Houston with other bands. Charlie Parker, on guitar & vocals, has been playing professionally since the late 70’s and has hone his skill to become a great performer and singer. And founder of the cpb he has worked hard to become a favorite around Texas. Biker bars and motorcycle rallies are his specialty. He has years of experience and it shows when the band is rockin the House!!! Quana Easley on bass and vocals started playing bass in 1977 professionally at age 14 in high school. He also started the band "Hazzard" promoted by Ticketmaster and the band "Stepchild" that played the Houston metal scene in the mid 80's. By 2008 he was fronting the "Montgomery Walker Band" and then the band "Jackhammer". Quana is a very powerful, and talented performer. You can feel it when the band is Rockin!!! We're thankful to get him in the band, Rockon!!! Scooter Green, on Drums, vocals and Party director has been playing professionally since the early 60’s with different artist like Jerry LaCroix, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Shinolas etc. Scooter has played with everybody pretty much in Tx. & La. He is a seasoned professional and it shows when you see him perform!!! Charlie started playing guitar at the ripe old age of 8yrs old. With three older siblings, he was exsposed to music at a early age. He grew up through the 60's and 70's and has been influence by the Jazz, Blues and Rock of that era. He has been playing the Texas club scene since high school and together with all his friends and fellow musicians he helped form some Houston area bands such as Crossroads, Turbulance, Troublemaker and his own band for the last 14yrs. He did the school talent show and the Houston rock scene throught the late 70's. Playing places like Rockers, Cardis, Struts, Fitzgeralds, Rockafellas, etc. In 2010 Scooter Green joined up and brought a whole new charisma and energy to the band with his crazy stage presence and awesome voice! Then in 2011 Quana Easley the lead singer and guitarist from the Montgomery Walker band hooked up on bass after the lost of Mike"Lowboy"Leobner going to heaven. Quana started out on bass and always wanted to get back on bass with the right band. Charlie asked Quana to join up and he gladly accepted. So the band formed and the following started growing and keeps growing every week. It's truly magic to see the trio perform. Charlie, Scooter and Quana sing lead and they all have great harmonies together. They try to do the good old songs that you don't hear anymore but use to rock the air waves and the original songs kick ass and are gaining popularity in their own style. The original tunes are intented to sound and be different than the types of music genre we already know. We wanted to give everybody something new but still interesting to listen to. Lots of people love them and always have a great time at their shows! All their combined playing experience is a 120+ years, and the band is really tight and dynamic. They love to jam and it shows at every performance. This is one Powerful three Piece Band!!! They have also had the honor of playing at a lot of big bike rallies around TX & LA such as: the Hawgs of Texas Rally(H.O.T.), Republic of Texas Rally (R.O.T.), Dawgs on Hawgs, River City Bike Fest, Bad to Da Bone Rally, Rumble on the River, Cajun Thunder, the Texas Rally Luau, Cart bike and babes rally, Iron Angel rally, the Lone Star Rally, the Texas National Motorcycle Rally(T.N.M.), the Broke Urban Biker Rally(BUB), etc. Also, they have opened the show for bands like Blackfoot, Three Dog Night (and we ran spots lgts. for them as well lol), David Allen Coe, Jefferson Star Ship, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Georgia Satellites, Riot, Hank Williams Jr., Point Blank, Foghat, etc. This is a Rockin Texas Band without a doubt!!!
